Dr. Katherine L. White is Board-Certified in Dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is affiliated with Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Dr. White founded Hampshire Dermatology & Skin Health Center in 2009. Dr. White graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College, and has a master’s degree from Columbia University. Dr. White received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, where she was elected to the medical honors society, Alpha Omega Alpha, and received several academic awards. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center. She trained as a dermatology resident at New York University, widely considered the premiere dermatology program in the nation. She served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. White served as a voluntary faculty member at the New York Harbor-VA Medical Center. She was in private practice in Manhattan before moving to the Pioneer Valley in 2006. Dr. White is active in our community, appearing on regional television, providing area physicians with continuing medical education lectures, participating in annual skin cancer screening events, and promoting skin health in local schools.
